cCalorieScan.

For Women and cycle-aware tracking

A calorie tracker that doesn't pretend your body is a Honda Civic.

Most calorie trackers were built around a male physiological default. CalorieScan AI's cycle-aware mode adjusts targets and insights across the menstrual cycle, surfaces iron risk, and quietly hides the parts that don't help you.

The pain

Why standard trackers fall short here.

  • Energy needs vary 100–300 kcal/day across the cycle; most apps treat your body as a flat line.
  • Iron deficiency is common and most trackers don't flag it.
  • Late-luteal cravings get framed as 'failures' instead of physiology.
  • Pregnancy and postpartum aren't designed for in most apps.

What we do

How CalorieScan AI is built for this.

Cycle-aware mode

Add cycle data once and we adjust your daily target up by ~150–250 kcal during the late luteal phase.

Iron and B12 surfacing

Iron and B12 appear in the weekly review with daily target reminders.

Pregnancy mode

Adjusts targets per trimester (roughly +340 kcal in T2, +450 in T3) and disables the deficit framing.

No diet-culture nudging

We never tell you to 'earn' food or refer to anything as a 'cheat'.

Frequently asked

  • Will CalorieScan AI work during pregnancy?

Yes — we have a pregnancy mode that adjusts targets per trimester and disables deficit-framing language. We strongly recommend doing this in coordination with your OB or RD; we are not a medical device.

  • How does cycle-aware mode know where I am in my cycle?

Either you log it in-app or it reads from Apple Health (which can read from Cycle Tracking, Natural Cycles, Flo, etc., depending on your permissions).
